MOYER, C.J. Appellants present the following three issues for our determination: whether a security alarm system company owes a duty
of protection to the employee of a commercial establishment under a contract between the commercial establishment and the
security alarm system company for the protection of the commercial establishment after it is closed for the day; whether the
employee is a third-party intended beneficiary or an incidental beneficiary of the contract; and whether one who undertakes,
gratuitously or for consideration, to render services to another which affect a third person is liable to the third person
for physical harm resulting from his failure to protect his undertaking. For the following reasons, we affirm the judgment
of the court of appeals.
